Adirondack Learning Academy is a member of the National Independent Study Accreditation Council (NISAC). NISAC has accredited homeschool, independent study and distance learning programs since 1997. Accreditation is valuable in providing an educational organization with certification by an auditing organization verifying that a school or program has voluntarily participated in a comprehensive self-study examination and successfully demonstrated that the institution meets necessary standards for directing students in accomplishing appropriate learning expectations.
